2010 Engineers' Annual Conference -- April 6-7 Please click this link to access the online registration system. The 2010 ACEA Annual Conference is scheduled for April 6 - 7, 2010, at Marriott’s Grand Hotel in Point Clear, Ala. We hope you will make your plans NOW to attend! Conference registration for ACEA members is $185 each if you register before Friday, March 12. Late registration will take effect after March 12 and will be $200 each. (Cancellations will not be refunded after Friday, March 19.) Enclosed in your registration packet is information on the John F. Courson Excellence in County Engineering Award (which is due March 3), information on the Golf Tournament, and a full conference agenda. You can see from the topics that this will be a great conference! We are especially excited about our kickoff speaker for the Opening General Session. Andy Fanter is a nationally known economist who makes forecasts for CAT, John Deere, Volvo and others. Andy is going to speak about the Forecast for Equipment Rotation and Resell. The conference dinner this year will be held offsite at Wentzell’s restaurant on Wednesday, April 7. This is a family friendly event, so be sure to sign up your guests. Crenshaw County Engineer Benjie Sanders and his band will be playing for us. The deadline to reserve your room is Friday, March 5. Please understand that we must use 85% of our room block or ACEA will have to pay for the unused rooms.
